It’s a hidden gem! We ordered potato spinach Bolani for appetizer. For main course combo platter for 6, and kabuli pulao. (Came with side of salad and freshly made naan). Portion sizes are great. It was scrumptious and authentic Afghani food. Service was 10/10. Marwa was a great hospitable host. Ended night with kulfi! The seating arrangement on the floor gave enough space for our young kids to play around. Would recommend it to friends and family. It was a great experience! Thank you Hasna grill!!
Excellent place to eat, the flavor and presentation is spot on with what you see in the picture and if you know your way around afghan food you'll love it here.

5 Stars I had the lamb chops and honestly, I’ve never tasted anything this flavorful before. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection. The quality and taste were absolutely top-notch — easily the best I’ve had in Connecticut. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves great food and great service!
OMG everyone must try this place.. it was so fresh and tasty... the lamb shank was cooked to perfection and the grilled chicken was so delicious.. we don’t mind driving an hour for this place
What a meal! We had a grill combo for two and added the butter chicken. Each type of meat was prepared perfectly. The Mets were juicy and tender (never tough or dry). Wow!!!! I had never tried whole wheat naan and it was fresh from the oven. Our plate go two could have easily fed four. Great value! Family vibe! We will be back again and again.
We ordered Qabli Pulao which comes with a lamb shank. The portion size was good and it tasted authentic. The staff was also polite. The interior has Afghani look with different paintings including the Afghan Girl painting. Overall the ambiance is good. Will definitely recommend this place.
What a great place to eat! Simple yet tasteful on the inside, unassuming on the outside, but you won’t regret eating here. As a vegan, there are options - pictured is the vegetable curry with rice. It was delicious! My parents also enjoyed what they got. The Afghani Salata is a light and flavorful salad/appetizer. Their white sauce seems to be favored - we heard multiple people requesting for more of it! They had a nice selection of refrigerated drinks and desserts. We’ll be coming back!
